Even with remarkable innovation happening in dermatology, most skincare still feels like it’s only treating everyday issues at the surface. Elm Biosciences set out to change that. In partnership with Martha Stewart and her visionary dermatologist, Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, we created a brand for next-generation skincare—one that addresses both external signs of aging and the internal triggers behind them. Developed with insights from more than 350 dermatologists and scientists, Elm’s system combines a clinically advanced serum with a proprietary capsule, tackling oxidative stress, inflammation, and hormonal imbalance to strengthen the skin’s foundation from within.

From strategy through identity and packaging, we built a brand that feels as rigorous as the science behind it, while elevating it far beyond clinical clichés. The elm leaf symbol, drawn from the natural symmetry of the Chinese Elm Tree, anchors the identity with precision and care. Frosted glass vessels protect and spotlight the luminous gold serum, while clean, modern typography replaces expected laboratory tropes with a language of clarity and intention. Elm is clinically advanced, beautifully considered, and built to redefine how we live—and age—well.
